This is Ging she has someone looking at her today. Ging arrived back in April, the people who found her thought she was a he purely due to her being a Ginger Cat. She actually had kittens but no one knew because they thought she was a boy :( so she had loads of milk and took on a couple of kittens that we were bottle feeding. Really she arrived to us at the right time. Sadly however she went down hill very quickly and was loosing her eye sight. She was diagnosed with a suspected case of Toxo. She is so lucky to be in our care because our policy is to treat all medical conditions rather than to euthanize. Ging hated her medication and the staff and I had so many complication in medicating her, after lots of chats with out wonderful and supported vets we found that the drug was available in an injection form and therefore treatment started. She still hated us for it though the poor girl. After months of care Ging has survived and we are ao thrilled that out efforts proved worthy. Ging has lost a lot if vision in one eye due to her illness but does amazingly well. She has bonded so closely to her foster boy Toby that we hope they go together. Thank you to those who support us financially because without you these cats would not be alive and well today.
