This is Heather. She was a fellow Lymey. Was. She made this video a few months ago asking for help, because she was desperate for help. A month and a half before she made this video, she lost her mother and after that she was left alone. She was too sick to care for herself, too sick to defend herself to her unsupportive family and too broke to pay for any kind of treatment or too broke to pay for shelter. She was homeless. She asked for help from everybody. She even turned to #EllenDeGeneres, #Oprah and #DrPhill only facing rejection. We as a society failed her. After months of begging for help to save her life, 3 days ago she gave up and jumped in front of a moving train and killed herself. When will we really understand Lyme is REAL and DANGEROUS? I repeat WE failed her and WE continue to neglect the Lyme community who is in desperate need for food, shelter, treatment, personal care and emotional support. This needs to end. PS: Shame on our celebrities like #EllenDeGeneres, #Oprah and #DrPhill, who I adore and who are more than capable of offering a helping hand to Lyme victims. ******** Please do not let this story die!!!!
