Renowned the world over for being open, welcoming and tolerant. We look after our mates and everyone pays their way. Yet this is under serious threat. I am standing up and fighting it. You are welcome here but respect our traditions and values. Dont bring your wars and centuries old infighting shit here. We welcome other cultures. But we remain our own. You want to change our language to speak in a foreign language or for us to dress in confronting atire that isnt in keeping with our traditions, stay away. We do NOT tolerate racial threats. You do, you will be thrown out. We do NOT tolerate people hiding behind their religion and wreaking havoc on innocent people in the name of terrorism. If you do you will be dealt with to the full extent of our laws. We do NOT turn our backs on the needy. Peoples seeking refuge from suppression in their homeland will be treated with dignity and compassion in accordance with our UN obligations. We are mindful of Australias security first and foremost. We as a people do not support politically motivated wars or participate in illegal, non UN Sanctioned interventions. We are tolerant of each other. On this page we tolerate differences of viewpoint whilst our political opposites do not. We do not turn our backs on our mates. The sick, disabled, elderly, unemployed, impoverished. We do shun the fat cats who bludge off us and refuse to pay their share. We do not sanction the actions of the Australian Government at any level. This government was elected on a stack of lies and its first year is littered with broken promises. It has lost the faith of the Australian people. Further, the current prime minister speaks to his own agenda, an agenda served by wealthy mining magnates and media barons. He does NOT speak for the people of Australia. We remain a democracy. Our Constitution remains in place. Despite the activities of the current government. Notice is served on the prime minister and leader of the opposition that the free thinking people of Australia demand our country back. If it isnt given to us we will use whatever legal means available to take it back. The divisions and hatred seen here in the past month are un Australian and unacceptable. I blame Tony Abbott and Rupert Murdoch squarely for this. We are NOT easily frightened, nor do we take kindly to bullshit. We also demand a return to truth in our political system. The findings of the NSW ICAC need to go further. There is no place in our democracy for thieving, corrupt politicians. We have also had a gutfull of lying politicians. We have been tolerating it but the current government has abused the privilege. No more lies! We have had enough. The lucky country no more. We want it back and those who took it from us thrown out.
