This is Mandy. First of all, I am OVERWHELMED with all the love and prayers from all of you. I could never express my appreciation and gratitude. I feel so loved Im on mommas tablet since she has to work today. My hemoglobin is back up to 9.4 today, and my potassium and magnesium are both back to normal. My vomiting, bleeding, and amounts of blood have slowed dramatically. They did a special scan of my veins and arteries yesterday afternoon. They did find one large abdominal artery that is malformed, and could be the source of the bleeding, but could not see it fully or detailed enough with that type of scan. If I start bleeding more, then they will take me straight down for a angiogram, so that they can hopefully confirm its the cause and cauterize it. Also, the nutritionist saw me this morning, since I havent really been able to eat or keep anything down for this past week. Ive lost 17 lbs in the last month, so they are placing me on shakes and supplements, so Im praying I can keep those down. Prayers we are on the right bath and on the road to recovery Sorry for the super long post, but wanted to give yall the full updates. Its the least I can do with all of the prayers, encouragement, and sweet words yall have given to me!! Thanks again Mandy Wood at Community Hospital South.
