This is My story! hope it will be a inspiration to you 😊 Iv called this THERE WAS A TIME There was a time when i used to listen to music i.e. 2-pac/imran khan. Now all i listen to is nasheeds. There was a time i used to style my hair, Now i wear a hijab for the sake of Allaah. There was a time while on holiday someone asked why im wearin ma hijab the way i am in such hot weather to which i replied Hell is even hotter. There was a time i used to love short sleeves n couldnt bare long sleeves. Now i wear long sleeves to cover what is obligatory. There was a time i used to keep up with fashion. Now its all about coverage. There was a time when loved ones invited me to lessons/classes but i had a hundred and one excuses. There was a time id spend my free time watching t.v. Now i take my time out and go seek the religious obligatory knowledge. There was a time i would care what my friends/family think. Now all that concerns me is my hereafter and my good deeds. There was a time i used to pray just to show people im praying. Now i pray for the sake of Allaah and Allaah only. There was a time i used to stress and worry about worldly matters. Now im happy with all that Allaah has provided me with. In seeking the religious obligatory knowledge and learning i have changed for the better i aint perfect but i aim to die as a pious muslim. May Allaah make us amongst those who use their health and free time in doing the good deeds aameen Remember to be sincere in all the good deeds you do, by doing so for the sake of Allaah only. This life is short, the hardship will end at some point. Lets be patient and worry about our hereafter and make this our priority.
