This is Noah Galloway. Noah lives in Alabaster, a suburb of Birmingham here in Bama. He works as a personal trainer at the Alabaster YMCA. Noah lost an arm and a leg in the service of his country in Iraq, but he hasn’t let that slow him down any. He just got back from the Tuff Mudder competition in Ohio. Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie, and are known as the toughest event on the planet. (It was his eighth.) When he’s not working, competing, or spending time with his kids, Noah gives back to his community. During our recent snow storm, Noah was out in his four-wheel drive, rescuing stranded people. More recently, he spent time with a nine-year old boy who had just lost a leg due to cancer. I’m still waiting to see his contribution to the Alabaster YMCA’s fundraiser, which was his “attempt” to Zumba in his kilt. Be it at the organizational level or the individual level, Noah is always there, doing his part to help others. This is the first time I have ever seen him ask for anything. So I hope you will visit the link below and vote for him to be on the cover of Men’s Health magazine. You can vote everyday. Please share this with your friends and help me show this vet just how much we appreciate not only what he has given in the past, but what he continues to do for his community and his country. mhguysearch/entry/896/
