This is Only Breathing Out from Sound of Contacts 2013 debut album, Dimensionaut. Winners of the Limelight Award for Best New Group at the 2013 Progressive Music Awards, Sound of Contact was co-founded by Simon Collins and Dave Kerzner, and is descended from such legendary progressive rock bands as early Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes, Marillion, infusing such classic sounds with modern alternative influences from bands like Coldplay and Radiohead. The lead vocalist/drummer is Simon Collins, son of Phil Collins. Having grown up in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Simon began his journey towards becoming a musician at an early age, developing a passion for drums and being inspired by his father. While his voice is often compared to his fathers, Simon derives his vocal influence from such artists as Peter Gabriel, formulating a unique sound with elements from both Phil and Peter.
