This is Part of an email sent by an LASD leader to garner votes for her chosen few. Sad the attempt to influence voting with incorrect information. An example of why the community will never heal with HATERS like this. As an active and involved LASD parent, I want to share with you my recommendations for the November election. Its important for LASD parents to vote in this election because the future of our neighborhood school model is at stake. Vote yes on Measure N. The first priority of Measure N is to accommodate growing enrollment by adding a school site and/or reconfiguring existing school sites. If this measure does not pass, we will likely experience one or more of these scenarios: lose one of LASDs 7 current elementary schools, undergo significant changes in school boundaries, and will see more of the operational budget going to pay for portables. Re-elect Tamara Logan and elect Vladimir Ivanovic and Sangeeth Peruri to the Los Altos School District Board of Trustees, candidates endorsed by the Huttlinger Alliances, Los Altos Teachers Association, and many leaders in the LASD community. It is very important that LASD voters consider each candidates affiliations with Bullis Charter School. Although BCS was founded with the stated intention of being a small school, it has implemented a policy of enrollment growth in every year of its existence. As its enrollment grew, BCS required more and more facilities from the school district, which is legally required to provide them. Disputes over the allocation of facilities led BCS filing several lawsuits against the District, with requests that the judges should force LASD to hand over one of its existing school campuses to BCS. To date, these lawsuits have failed and millions of dollars have been wasted on them. I hope the Los altos community and the BCS Board and LASD Board see this email for what it is. Very sad and this is a leader in the Egan community?
