This is Rufus. He is 10 years old and wearing a collar with tags. He never leaves our yard and today when I went to leave for work at 7:30 and kennel the dogs he was no where to be found and hasnt returned. Our dogs sleep inside and he got let outside this morning at 6:45am. We live north of Richardton 12 miles off of HWY 8 1 mile to the west on 130 acres and my other two dogs were home but he has vanished. He is not friendly to strangers and I dont believe he would get in a vehicle with anyone who wasnt my husband or myself at will. He is neutered and like I said doesnt leave our yard. I will pay a $500 reward if someone took him somehow and returns him. I will also pay a reward if anyone happens to find his body if he wandered off for some reason and was killed or just to die peacefully. He is a healthy dog with no problems that we knew of. He hasnt acted differently lately and I just want some closure. I picked him out the day he was born and he has never left my side.
