This is Runrig -- a Scottish band popular when I lived there -- playing Allba to a huge Scottish audience. It is like a modern national anthem -- it is in Gaelic, that beautiful language…listen to that love and longing when they just repeat that chorus, Alba…I think there can be love of country, of culture, and of place, that is not xenophobic…I think we can honor the way we love our cultures and share them with the world in a way that is not exclusive or racist….that is the future as the globalized IMF warmonger script tries to make us forget what we love and our small corners of the world and language….Alba: https://youtube/watch?v=SnZ8feu2MGw
