This is Smitty (was Blazer) who we donated to Patriot Service Dogs, he is in training . Here is what his trainer Gordon said in her card Thank you so much for donating Blazer to PSD, We have renamed hi Smitty after his sponsors brother who fought in the Vietnam War. He has taken well to his new name as well as his new home. It took some adjusting but I can honestly tell that he is happy here. He gets along with all 9 dogs and they have a blast playing together. He is also very sweet and friendly to everyone. He loves our training sessions and is always willing to learn new commands. He does about 40 of them. He is so smart! I love working with him We recently started taking field trips to other parts of the prison We visit the nursing hone dorm where there are women in wheelchairs and walkers. We also meet with some youth offenders and show them what we do with the dogs and how to execute commands! Ive enclosed some photos from our outing and hope you enjoy them. Again thank you for your support We are so tickled that he is doing so very well and are really looking forward to being able to attend his graduation sometime next year and to be able to meet his trainer as well as the Vet he will be paired with!
