This is Spock. He was found at the dog park here in Clovis a couple of weeks ago by a caring citizen that took him in. He was covered in ticks and fleas and seemed very weak so the nice people that found him took him to vet. He had blood work done and was positive for 2 of the 4 tick borne diseases. This caused him to have almost no platelets in his blood. He has been on antibiotics for the last 2 weeks and is feeling much better. He has a long term foster that is teaching him the ropes of being a house dog and to know what love is. He is said to be very sweet and loves other dogs. We are needing help with vetting him. He needs more blood work for the tick borne diseases and need to be neutered. He is going to be a long term foster and hopefully find the best home possible! Scooby also needs help in the manners department and more vetting. We would like to get him trained while hes at Old fashion K9 being boarded. This will ensure these 2 fabulous boys a great home! We cant send pit mixes or pit bulls to Colorado like we do with the rest of the breeds. They have strict breed bands where we send the dogs and sending them there could mean their life so we have to adopt them out locally. Anything you can give to help these 2 boys is greatly appreciated and needed desperately. We have lots of doggies in our rescue and vetting them and giving them a second chance is expensive.
