This is a BOAT - but it illustrates the EXACT same things that we talk about with vertical lifts with large animals. 1. Have control of the head with a lead or pilot line (to control sway and when you set it down to make small adjustments.) 2. Ensure there is a strap across the BREAST (in front of the front legs and under the neck) to prevent sliding forward. (if there is a concern for slipping backwards - use a butt strap too.) 3. Have a good operator that knows what they are doing. Enjoy - if this was a horse it would not be a good ending either.
