This is a HUGE problem! Too many commands dont want to deal with wounded, ill and injured Marines so they take the easy way out and admin sep them for Condition Not a Disability so they can free up a boatspace and get a healthy Marine in. This is especially bothersome for Marines suffering from TBI and/or PTSD and too often, these are junior Marines who dont understand their options and rights. Theres also a mentality that if a Marine needs help he can go to the VA after EAS. I understand Marines are mission oriented but this is also a leadership issue, you have to take care of your Marines and get them the best help available, dont take the quick fix.
