This is a People Movement My prayer is that not another child dies in our streets. This is something we can do as a nation of people. I seen this in other countries, for example in Saudi Arabia they have a very low crime rate showing us that we can do the same. Its time to put the guns down and for our people to stop using crime as a means to create income. Education is the power to create real change in your life. For every young man out there robbing, stealing, drug dealing and killing, that’s some body’s child, some body’s brother, some body’s cousin, some body’s family and that’s some body’s friend. We can reach out to them, everybody know the people in your family who’s out there in those streets. LOL Now is the time to talk to them, to support them, to reach out to help them find other means of creating income. We need the family to be the family again, to help one another and take care of each other. We all know it takes money to live in America and without money life is hard; but if we took care of each other as family, there would be no need for shelters, Treatment Centers, Transitional Housing and there would be no need for all the group homes and masses youth detention centers and the massive prison system. We can be the change in our community. You dont have to wait for another Dr King or church/community leader or civil rights organization to host some big protest or event to save our people, (all of that is good) we have the power to create change, in our lives and in the lives of those around us, those that we see every day. This has been done before and it can never fail. A People Movement, 2000 years ago, a man name Jesus educated his followers, empowered them and sent them out two by two, they fellowship house to house and that word they took from house to house has spread throughout the world and is still changing lives today in 2015. You are the Change, Be the Change.
