This is a conversation with Terry Riley in its entirety (save for editing out much of my voice). Terry spoke with me about Claude Debussy for the documentary Tuia Cherici was making, which is finished and published now. In 2008, I played a concert with Stefano Scodanibbio (Thinking of Stefano Scodanibbio) on the only piano Debussy owned the last 14 years of his life. Terry brought Stefano and I together and also wrote the liner notes for the release of the recording on Die Schachtel. I spent the afternoon with Terry and Ann at the Moonshine Ranch and I think there is a lot more to our conversation that folks will appreciate than what was used in the documentary. Terry gave me his blessing to do so and here it is!
