This is a day in the life of a cancer patient. This was one of my appointments yesterday. This is a pulmonary function test. This is testing on my heart and lungs to prep me for my bone marrow stem cell transplant. I had an echocardiogram done prior to this but didnt get pictures to post. However, I have these. I look forward to sharing with you more photos later. I will be getting a bone marrow biopsy in a couple hours today. Thats when they take out a piece of youre pelvic bone. It checks the progress of your cancer to make sure the chemo is doing is job etc... So we will pray for all good results. I know God is going to give me good results. These procedures are all preparations for my transplant which is soon approaching. Can I just ask that we pray for me today. Bone marrow biopsies are no fun and painful procedures for me. Nobody wants to deal with soreness and being awake getting a piece of your pelvis bone taken out. Lots of praying. God bless :-)
