This is a fictional work called Charles and Bella about a man who went from highs to lows and back to highs and how he learned about true wealth. This is the story of Charles he was the only son of two very rich and extremely over indulgent parents. He had everything cars, money, women, no wife of course or even steady girlfriend (his idea of a steady girlfriend was anyone he went out with more then three times.) After 29 years, twenty times being arrested. (and bailed out with in two-hours) fifteen totaled vehicles (each worth at least fifty-thousand dollars.) Tuition to and failing out of five ivy league colleges (they had also paid his teachers clear through high school to pass him). Never having worked for any time he did not appreciate anything his parents couldn’t take anymore (his mother was in tears.) They kicked him out he tried to move in with one friend or another for the next week none would take him. Which led him to life on the streets living in cardboard boxes, under bridges or in a homeless shelter and considering himself lucky. Oh he knew all about the value of little things now A warm bath, cool drink, and a hot meal these were things of dreams to him and even dreams were a luxury he could not afford. He felt so hopeless he could not even find the drive to work if anyone would hire him besides who would want the filthy, stinking, hairy, matted mess he had become as an employee. He was glad his parents and ’friends’ could not see him now. After five years of this he met someone who would change his life forever a three-and a half foot when she stood on all fours curly coated black labradoodle. He was in an alley greedily wolfing down a sandwich a stranger had given him under a sheltering overhang. When he heard a commotion A trio of large Dobermans had her cornered but back down not her Charles had seen many homeless dogs fight and even kill each other during his time on the streets but this was wrong maybe it was how big they were compared to her maybe it was the fact that there were three of them and only one of her but Charles had to stop this his heart went out to the black dog and her plight so with no regard for personal safety (another thing that was out of character for him) he charged at the Doberman trio yelling as loud as he could brandishing a stick. The trio ran like the cowards they were the black dog calmly approached him with her tail wagging almost to fast to see he walked back to his awning and the dog followed him. He moved five more times each time a little farther through the pouring rain still the dog followed him.
