This is a film about the failings of religion and the glorifying of science. I would like to add that Science as an institution has failed equally well in providing to humanity a system of knowledge that is unbiased. Religion has represented the irrational while Science has represented the rational side of the human personality. Well... the fact of the matter is that humans are rational and irrational - their brains and minds use sequential and simultaneous logic and both of these institutions humans have created for knowledge have thrown the baby out with the bath water. Science does not explain what awareness is. They are bound by the materialistic philosophy on which the scientific institution is based - yes science is based on a theory. Its like the religious having a fight with the skeptics... and they are both wrong. You have to go out on a limb to get to the fruit of the tree. Consciousness is spirit. It cannot die. It can grow or shrink in awareness and only emotional intelligence can be used to discern the difference between good and evil. The one is the spirit of competition while the other is the spirit of vitality- kind of makes it more simple to work with.
