This is a friend posting today. Brittlyn is settled into her room, her parents have decorated it with pictures and some of her favorite things. She has received some therapy and it has gone well. She has gained a bit of head control and made some respiratory progress towards the eventual possibility of having the trache tube removed. She is no longer considered in a coma, but due to the brain injury she is not awake yet either. They have spent a great deal of time trying to get on top of her pain. She has moments when she can follow simple commands, and Brittlyn gave a thumbs up when asked: as DaVonne said, “it is such a small thing but, it’s huge.” We want to give God praises for blessings big and small and for all the people he has called to serve in so many different capacities in this journey. Pray for continued guidance and provision.
