This is a good learning opportunity for the entire country! With all due respect to the Democrat machine and some of its well intentioned, but misguided leaders; does this Southeast Raleigh dilemma with the closed Kroger store, the dwindling opportunity for employment and the lost commercial services to the neighborhood blacks not represent a microcosm of the problem of our country? Pure and simple, all Democrats attempt at revamping the economic activities in the area failed because (1) building and running profitable businesses is not Democrat Partys area of expertise (2) Directing poor people to Government-run, inefficient programs is where Democrats excel. We need more Republicans like Art Pope to come to the rescue of poor black communities.
