This is a great interview representing progress and plans to continue helping the unwanted animals of DeKalb County. I agree that backyard breeders need to be stopped. If you are interested in helping DeKalb County Animal Services, they are in need of volunteers who can foster, ON A SHORT-TERM BASIS, animals before they can be moved on to the next step. Quite often it is required that an animal be kept OUT OF THE KENNEL ENVIRONMENT for 7-10 days. That would be a TREMENDOUS help if we could get volunteers to foster in order to get the dogs/cats/puppies/kittens into their next stage of adoption. Please consider helping. Helping is not always convenient, but it is critical if we want to see change.
