This is a happy and at the same time a bit sad day at the Bow Valley SPCA. Two of the kittens were finally big enough to be spayed/neutered (they have to weigh about 1 KG) yesterday and they were adopted today, just after the video. The happy part is clear--they now have wonderful forever homes with loving families. The sort of sad part is how attached all of the staff and volunteers have become to them. In many ways it is no different from any of the other residents when they find their forever homes--but somehow seeing them from the day they were born, and watching them grow makes the parting a bit more emotional.
