This is a kind of lengthy but kindly read through. It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad. All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another. If you dont like something, change it. If you cant change it, change your attitude. Change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability, but comes through continuous struggle. And so we must straighten our backs and work for our freedom. A man cant ride you unless your back is bent Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones weve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek. You must be the change you wish to see in the world. Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. When we are no longer able to change a situation - we are challenged to change ourselves. Never believe that a few caring people cant change the world. For, indeed, thats all who ever have. All great change begins at the dinner table. If there is no struggle, there is no progress If we dont change, we dont grow. If we dont grow, we arent really living. If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
