This is a little overdue, but I want to thank everyone who helped out during the winter sport season with the VIB this year. We had an amazing time covering Basketball this season for both the boys and girls. We also had a chance to cover a wrestling meet. Everything we have done is thanks to the commitment of the TV administration to this program that was started years ago. Individually, I would like to thank each of the students who helped out over the course of the winter. First for the Fab Five; Matt Martell, Christian West, Jared Lauritson, Joel Reiners and James Kinsella! These guys did most of the work while juggling other responsibilities(play and SchoBowl). Basketball season would not have been possible without their dedication! During the course of the basketball season(specifically during the Holiday Classic) there were times when we needed some extra hands. Luckily, there were more than enough people willing to lend a hand! Special thanks to each of the following people for helping out: Josh McBride, Evan Shook, Tristen Hall, Eli Mauer, Janelle Martin and also the non-high schoolers who were solicited into helping when no one else would: Steve Stark, Brock Ward, Lucas Hari and Jack Stewart. The wrestling meet that we covered had a special guest commentator, Jerry Danko, who was more knowledgeable with the sport than myself. I would like to thank Jerry for volunteering to talk that night! Lastly, I would like to thank all the coaching staff and faculty members who helped make this a possibility. Coach Nelson, Coach VanWinkle, and Coach DeWald it was a pleasure to cover your teams this winter. Also, Mr. Knutson thank you for trusting me to carry on what JP started. We will see you all for Spring sports! Look for updates on what home baseball and softball games we will be covering! We may also attempt to cover a track meet if possible. - Kyle Boward
