This is a little snippet of Newport Beach BEFORE the OC. It also marked a milestone for me. The week this race was held I was driving back to transfer to Vanderbilt University. I thought I would attend there for two years and then move on to medical school someplace else. Thirty six years later, I am just about 20 miles down the road from Vanderbilt and I sell real estate for a living. Whether you stayed in Newport or not, do you have a pivotal point in your life that you can look back on and say, That was when my life changed! Its okay if you dont have a tee shirt that commemorates it! ;)
