This is a message I thought Id want to share to my fellow Democrats, progressives, and anyone who is opposed to most GOP, Tea party or libertarian ideas. The Democrats are a Big Tent party, and if you look at our nation demographically, we cant win unless we nominate electable candidates who can win in the given state or district. I get annoyed with some progressives who are being too critical of some of these moderate or Blue Dog candidates. Trust me, I am a progressive and am partial to people like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, but if we are going to win in red districts or conservative districts in blue states, we need to keep an open mind. Any Democratic candidate is going to be a step up from any Republican candidate in any given state or district! If Democrats had a chance at Utah, for instance, or Texas, the Democrat may be to the right of most of us, but in order to take our country forward, our common goals are to weaken the Tea Party and try to make Obamas last two years more productive then the previous 3 nightmarish years of Obstruction.
