This is a message from someone on the page. Can anyone offer her advice or opinions? Hey. I just wonted to say that your page has helped me through some rough times, and has given me the encouragement I needed when I was in my darkest hour. I know that we dont know each other and stuff. But as one trans woman to another. I wonted to ask. Im going through difficult stuff in the areas of self esteem, and dealing with homophobic stereotypes from most of my home town, the majority of my family, and the majority of my friends. Since I met my fiancée, Ive stopped cutting. I go to a therapist about this stuff, though shes somewhat of not caring. My fiancée has a lot on her working 3rd shift, and I dont wont to put more on her than she can handle. Shes also trans, m2f. Though shes been accepted pretty much by everyone in her home town and by her family. Ive tried looking for a trans support group, though I cant find one. Do u have any advice that you could share on how you handled this? Like I honestly dont really know where to turn. Give her your support.
