This is a message to the administrator of this page: I am trying to trace the family of 1/Lt Irving Nussbaum who was one of 11 men killed on the 10th of May 1945 over Braintree, England when their B17 (44-8198) collided with a 2nd B17 while flying a Trolley Mission to Germany from thier base in Kimbolton, Cambridge (8th AF, 379th Bomb Group, 526th Bomb Squadron). Next year will be the 70th anniversary of the crash and a memorial is being unveiled near to the crash site honouring these 11 men. I have managed to trace the other 10 mens family; but with your help, I might be able to find Irvings family. I need your permission to allow me to post a link to a Youtube appeal video which details what we know about Irvings last know whereabouts. I hope you will allow this. Many thanks... Tony.
