This is a note I just got from father mike in the Philippines: The devastation is really unbelievable. I grew up in Samar, and we were visited by strong hurricanes before. But this is simply unprecedented. Yet knowing the resilience of my countrymen, they will soon get back on their feet again. Relief assistance and aid, both foreign and local, are pouring in. My sister and her family are in my hometown in Samar. The house suffered minor damage to the roof. They are okay. My aunt and cousins are in the hardly-hit city of Tacloban. I just heard news that they are also fine. Thanks be to God! Thanks for your concern and prayers, Don! Kindly extend my warm regards to the wonderful people of St. Teresas.
