This is a noticeably - to the trained Beatle-ear - different mix of this song from the one youre most familiar with (Track 1 of the Let It Be album). Here, two differences stand out: 1. the lead/(bass)* guitar part, played by George Harrison, is louder and more prominent in this mix; 2. John Lennons co-lead vocal is far more distinct and conspicuous in this mix as well. (In the album version, Phil Spectors horrible production pretty much drowned out Lennons excellent co-lead vocal, and it was McCartneys voice which as far more prominent.) *This is one of the rare Beatles songs on which no bass guitar is played; McCartney - the groups bassist - played acoustic rhythm guitar, in tandem with Lennon, while George Harrison handled lead and bass guitar by essentially amalgamating the two. He got that low bass guitar sound by playing only the E string on his six-string Fender Telecaster.
