This is a photo and explanation from a dear friend of mine. Thank you for sharing it Krista Shelhart. People I want to point this out because it is important. It is summer time you have kids out walking and riding bikes in the neighborhood. This is my significant others son after being hit by a lady who was texting and driving. You may think its no big deal to take your eyes off the road to read or answer a text message but this could be the result. Thankfully nothing is broken but still this is a 12 year old little boy and it could have been a lot worse. Pay attention to what you are doing for the sake of the children especially this time of year though to be honest there is NOTHING coming through on your phone more important than you paying attention to where you are going if it is that important pull the car over for a minute. There is absolutely no excuse for hurting someone due to your own stupidity.
