This is a picture of Patrick Hogan, my mums twin. Patrick died when he was 15 and here is a story that has been handed down. I remember my mum telling me this often, and I am now reading this from the memories of another member of the family. It may or may not be true, but it has been handed down. When Patrick died, he had been a local billiards champion. The story is that he was a Northern Ireland champion. The billiard club asked if they could take a photo of Patrick, as he was laid out on the bed. The Bishop, of the time, gave his consent and the photo was taken. After the funeral took place and the photo was developed, the body of Patrick was not visible on the bed, only the indentation on the pillow, where his head had lain. As I said, this may be true, or it may not be true, but what is certain is, that my mother and other senior members of the family believed it to be true. Patrick Hogan RIP.
