This is a power turbine that generates electricity for the grid around the dell childrens hospital . It has run its projected life span of three years or 30000 hours . Last Saturday , my company H&H Foradory Construction , worked setting up the trolley system to remove it from its working position . It was chilly but sunny . TOMORROW morning we have to arrive at 5:30 to remove the barrier fencing and the wall section by 7:00 when the semi coming from California carrying the new turbine arrives and the 50 ton crane arrives to lift this , swing it over and set it on a cradle . Im hoping that it isnt sleeting / snowing / icy because that would SUCK!!! Please stay warm , safe and dry . I will post pics from tomorrow to show the process . And by the way , yes that is me driving the forklift 🚧⚠️😎
