This is a problem thats been bothering me for the last 10 years as a downtown resident and business owner. Im always amazed when I hear people talk about how hard it is to park in downtown KC. The reality is that we have a massive surplus of vacant lots and tons of free on-street parking, alongside a shortage of residential and office real estate. All of this at the great cost of tearing down numerous historical buildings over the years. Now, were even getting national attention for this several-decades-worth of backward thinking.
