This is a re-post of a message, the Lord gave me a few months ago. . . The Pool of Bethesda IS STIRRING. . . AMEN! The other day, I felt led to go to a nature trail that I hadnt been to in over a decade. All along the trail, there were markers that told about the nature in the surrounding areas. But everything I read and saw, God opened my spiritual eyes to. At the top of the hill there was a marker in front of a beautiful tree. The marker read about how a rude and thoughtless visitor had carved their initials in the tree, which has opened up the door to diseases entering the tree, early decay, etc... I said out loud to God, Hey, that is exactly what Satan did to the tree of life. He carved HIS initials in it, and corrupted it! Then I walked around the winding path to the bottom of the hill where there seemed to be nothing but stagnant water. BUT, in the middle of the two pools of stagnant water, there was an immense churning and bubbling sound that I could hear welling up from in between the pools of stagnant water. Although, nothing was moving to the naked eye, my eyes told me something huge was about to spring forth. The Pool of Bethesda is stirring! Remember in the Bible about the lame man that had been waiting for so very many years at the pool to have someone carry him to the water when it was stirring, and no one would? I was thinking about this and had a revelation. When Jesus was standing in front of this lame man, the pool of Bethesda had actually come to him! JESUS IS ALIVE! HE IS the POOL OF BETHESDA! AND THE WATERS ARE STIRRING! John 5:1-9 (KJV) 5 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. 5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? 7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. 8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. 9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
