"This is a really exciting step in the development of the organization. After using our Facebook page to connect with our supporters, we are finally able to launch our full website. The setting up of the Facebook page has been useful. Since its setting up, through this process, we have been able to mobilize and build a following and a support base. A few of our goals with the JAWABU Afrika website were to make it faster, easier to navigate for users, and easier for us to manage/update. Most of all, we wanted to help our supporters get to know us better. If you take a gander around the site I think you’ll get a pretty good idea of who we are and what we plan to achieve as an organization. Going forward will require action; we want to do something about the issues that we have increasingly raised on the fan page. We have a choice to do this by engaging our audience through the Jawabu Afrika website. We find the JAWABU Afrika website convenient as it can reach those who are not facebook followers and enabling a wide reach of information through the sharing of links and email addresses.
