This is a reply by a representative of Queensland Nameplate Rod Oberg Queensland Nameplate group is a family owned and operated business by my family and I am unimpressed to read this has happened to your parts. As I run the nameplate side of the business I am totally unaware that this has happened and am disappointed in the service you have received from Steve whom you would have dealt with. We are going through a transition at the moment in the chrome shop with staff as our long time plater has left the business and unfortunately took an extreme amount of knowledge with him and also left ALL of our tanks unbalanced on purpose which has messed all of our plating. We have now got a hold of the tanks with the help of our chemical suppliers as of this week just gone and hope to move forward from here. There is NO excuse for the axle being chromed I cant make excuses for that and apologise. Feel free to call me and we will try and rectify this within reason of course or come and see me at Willowbank in two weeks at the QDRC final I will be in the bits with a two car junior dragster team. We have sponsored Modified Bike for a number of years in the South East Qld 1/8 Mile Series and certainly dont want to upset those that we support. Regards Rod Oberg Qld Nameplate Production Manager/ Ex Mod. Bike Racer now Junior Dragster Father.
