This is a sad day for all of us, not just the Tea Party, if this is allowed to stand! Senator Thad Cochran (R-MS) is a crooked six-term Senator that represents everything that is wrong with Washington DC! I hope that Texas Senator Chris McDaniel (R-TX) challenges these results. There were allegations recently, and I tend to believe them, that Sen. Cochran was getting Democrat buddies to urge Democrat and Independent voters to vote for him in the Republican primary. This is illegal. Only registered Republicans are allowed, by law, to vote in a Republican primary! There are dozens of irregularities with the most egregious being Hinds County where Sen. Cochran won by 5,300 votes in the election but won by 11,000 votes in the runoff. How many times have you ever seen the turnout double for a runoff election, much less double for one of the candidates in a runoff? This doesnt pass the smell test! The common sense thing to do would be running the ballots against the roles of registered Republicans and / or registered Democrats and knocking out any illegally cast ballots. But in a nation where our Congressmen just accept the statement that IRS emails were irretrievably lost and do absolutely nothing about that blatantly arrogant and defiant statement, the common sense thing might not be done. .
