This is a small statue of pharaoh Ninetjer (ca. 2785-2742 BC), one of the most recent acquisitions of the RMO, the Museum of Antiquities in Leiden, the Netherlands. It is made of serpentine, only 13 cm of height and possibly originating in Memphis. Ninetjer was the third king of the second Dyn. He is wearing the clothes of his sed-feast. It is the oldest statue of a pharaoh containing his name and titles, located on both sides of his throne: king of Upper and Lower Egypt, protected by the vulture and the cobra, Ninetjer. In the 1950s the statue was part of a private collection in Cairo. It has been bought in 1960 by a Dutch collector in London, whose son now has sold it to the RMO. The first photo is mine, the second one is from the website of the RMO rmo.nl/collectie/aanwinsten/twee-faraobeeldjes/farao-ninetjer .
