This is a story that needs LOTS more attention! 36 elephant babies have been stolen from their families in Zimbabwe and are current waiting to be shipped to UAE & China. Please read Pierce Brosnans post and write to the embassies pleading for the release of these babies. Several babies have been transported to China in previous years, many dont survive the trip or die in deplorable conditions which their kept, mostly in solitary confinement. A baby elephant NEEDS to be raised with other elephants. Theyre highly social creatures. Leaving them alone would be like locking a child in a closet. Elephants are on a path to extinction & this kidnapping certainly wont help save them. PLEASE SHARE & WRITE A LETTER. We must do better as a species if we want to save others. #ZimbabweElephants
