This is a story. the mans name was bill. when he was young he played football. huge guy. well. he got a head injury and they put a steel plate in his head. he was never able to work and did odd jobs. if he dared to have a drink...it affected his brain and he went totally over the edge. i remember as a kid coming home and seeing a wild scene. every cop in town was there. it took six of them to hold him down while a doctor sedated him. he ripped the doctors shirt off his back. so they sent him to Hamilton on the hill. That place was in a word barbaric. they gave him electroshock..and ice water shock..and go knows what else. it was a different and cruel time back then. when things were good..he was the nicest person on the street. on Saturday nights he would come over and watch the hockey game. he was there the night they last won the cup.
