This is a summary of upcoming events: Thursday, July 3rd, we will continue our summer concert series, 6:30-7:30 at the Oak Harbor Farmers Market. We had a very nice audience last week. The new, more compact seating arrangement made it easier to hear each other as well. Friday, July 4th, we will play for the parade. The band will set up at the front of Ramaley Park, next to the Drivers License office . The parade begins at 11AM. We are asked to begin assembling at 10AM. The street will close at 10:30 and almost always closes earlier. Bring a stand/chair if you are able. After the Greater Vancouver Volunteer Firemans Band (GVVFB) finishes marching, they will return to our area to continue to play with us. The GVVFB is playing a concert that afternoon, 2PM at the City Beach Gazebo. We have been invited to join them. If you are able to come to that event, please arrive early enough to help sort out seating and music.
