This is a testimony from our team that is in Africa right now. There is more to come! We currently have 992 students within the PEFA denomination in Kenya and Tanzania. These students are leaders of leaders. Their goal is to finish their degrees then take the material to the next level of leaders below them then down to the next until it reaches the level of the individual congregations. (potentially a million people at this point). They said they wont be done until everyone has studied these courses. Along with the Bible and ministry training, they require all of the students to take the community development courses. Bishop Moffat said that after watching one of our agriculture courses, he set up a small garden, using old tires as planters. Hes been so successful that hes been eating from his own garden all year and hardly ever needs to go to the market for produce. Heres another community development testimony from the Africa team: Yesterday a few of us paid a short visit to a PEFA church in the slum of Lunga Lunga. The pastor there is one of the first of the local pastors to start N2N. His members have begun growing vegetables in the slum. His family has a plot of land and he went out and planted moringa...much moringa. Enough that he was able to go to the Nairobi UN office and get paid carbon offset credit.
