This is a touching poem I am a Palestinian child 5 years of age, Ill tell u the story of my life Page by page I live in Gaza Where my home is my cage, Where my father works all day For a piece of bread as his wage Those passing by, smile at me And tell me to be brave, But you arent the one whose sat Weeping besides your mothers grave I wish I was fearless I wish I wasnt afraid, Theres one thing I want; freedom Freedom is all I crave I hear bombs exploding Everywhere I look, They robbed us from everything Even my childhood they took My brother they kidnapped My sister they shot, I hate them so much I pray they will rot My home they destroyed I have nowhere to live, My father says as Muslims We still should forgive My mother they murdered Taking her baby inside too, But why should you care?! This will meaning nothing to you You will never hear my story Never see my tears, Never hear the sirens Never feel my fears Because you are comfortable Living in luxury, You were blessed Unlike me I have no one No one at all, Yet for my brother I must stand tall My father they tortured Infront of my eyes, They ignored my tears They ignored my cries I wish they would go And let us be, I wish your media showed you My life so you would see But I am a Palestinian child 5 years of age, And Ill suffer alone Till Im in my grave Now I sincerely request you to make dua. Will only take a few minutes In Shaa Allah.
