This is a tribute to the soul of Levi Yitzchok Moscowitz: The life of my classmate and fellow Yid Levi Moscowitz came to an abrupt and tragic end yeaterday. Life as he knew it is over but his Neshomah lives on. It boggles my mind. Truly. His life was short, painful, and confusing, and full of short lived amusements. Is it our faith that determines our fate? Is it our decisions that enhance our experience? Does it boil down to our past lives that govern our current ones? Then we truly wouldnt be free, perpetually destined to results of old souls experiences, a never ending, Tikun filled whirlpool of existences. Like Acher who cried himself to death, after being severed from Gd because of his decisions, sometimes death is an alternative. Sometimes it seems, its a chance at a better reality, a fresh consciousness, a new face. Woe to one that must be subjected to this. Woe to Levi, whos Neshama cried out to be taken, to finish the mission, to begin again. Levi, I davens with all my heart this morning that your Neshomah should have an Aliyah, to be purified and cleansed, therapies from the trauma of human life and at the same time, take the good that youve done in the world and be elevated to a higher, cleaner consciousness.
