This is a very exciting time for us at the IVA. Weve got a bunch of cool projects on the go. To name a few: (1) Were developing a number of new position papers and preparing new Advocacy Practice meeting kits for on-the-ground use. (2) Were continuing to distribute abolitionist literature across the world, and were hard at work on a comprehensive vegan starter kit which will build on the content of our Respecting Animals and Demystifying Vegan Nutrition pamphlets. (3) Were gearing up for our upcoming abolitionist-educator-training reading group which again will conclude with a Q&A with Professor Gary Francione (and for which weve already received well over 100 inquiries from potential participants). And each month were being contacted by volumes of new people who are interested in using our materials, collaborating on abolitionist projects, or joining in our work. At the same time, were witnessing the continued explosion of interest in Prof. Franciones research, and the emergence of huge numbers of talented and dedicated independent abolitionist advocates across the world. This is what progress looks like.
