This is a very fitting article about the height of artistry in the work of Phillip Seymour Hoffman---such a terrible loss to acting. As a graduate of theater from CAL, I cannot help but follow actors of this caliber. I remember the first time I was aware of Phillip Hoffman --- in The Scent of a Woman way back in 1992, and then his turn of stealing all the scenes from Jude Law in The Talented Mr. Ripley. He was awesome, formidable, transcendent and definitely one if not the best of our actors. What a shame God couldnt have taken one of the many idiots of today in his place.
