This is a video of me playing my Weltmeister Cajun Accordion. This accordion is in the key of C and it was made in Germany by the same company who made the Monarch and Sterling accordions before World War II. This accordion came to me as a Christmas present from my brother and my sister-in-law in 2012. This video was filmed on January, 6th, 2013 in my kitchen by my sister-in-law. This video was originally sent to Liberty Bellows, from whom my brother and sister-in-law ordered it from. Thats why, in the beginning, you hear me say, HELLO, LIBERTY BELLOWS! Some may say that Weltmeister copied off of Hohners Ariette model, but thats not so. Actually, its quite the contrary. Germany started resuming manufacture of these accordions under the name of Regal in the early 90s. Here, Im playing Lawrence Walkers Wandering Aces Special and then following it with 99 Year Waltz in the style of Nonc Andrew Cormier.
