This is absolutely the best picture I have seen in a long time.... She is beautiful, courageous, and so brave! 15yrs and counting with my ileostomy in my life something that will never go away, something that is a reminder daily of the struggles I have faced in this life. I have never been ashamed of the life I live, because all this reminds me of the battle I overcame many years ago! This picture is perfect example that someone may look ok on the outside but you never know what they are facing on the inside. Dont judge others before you walk a day in their shoes... This has been a long time coming. Everyone I meet I tell them since the very beginning of the life I live. But I have come to a point in my life that all I have faced I will scream it out at the top of my lungs because I know so many people face different challenges everyday, challenges that some are embarrassed to speak of or to share. Just know you are never alone. On a another note, if I had her body I may just be doing the same thing. I am not afraid of what I wear, I am more afraid of ignorant people who preach everyday about being compassionate towards others but look away when shown a a picture like this. I am blessed with mine, because these 15yrs of my life have been the absolute best. Nothing I wouldnt trade...
